It was an up and down week for day care. We took Mikias 4 days this week and things improved every day. Actually, today he was there for the entire day and did very well...he even took a nap!! This is a big deal because the caregivers couldn't get him to take a nap there all week until today. He has been fine all week when I drop him off but it seems like he's just so used to having someone give him 100% attention all day (either from Joanna or me), that it was a little hard to adjust at first. Joanna is back to work on Monday so hopefully things continue to improve.
In the last couple days, Mikias has been taking a few small steps on his own. His record is 7 so far, but I'm sure he'll be running all over the house in no time!

Oh my gosh! I love that costume!!! I am a HUGE turtle fan and he is the cutest turtle I have ever seen :)
That is cool that Mikias is walking now. By the time we get together with your guys you will be chasing him all over the restaurant.
I am really glad to hear Mikias is doing well in daycare. Soon he will be sad to leave all his friends when you come to get him!

Daycare adjustments can be difficult, but it sounds like it's going better. Hope you enjoy going back to work, Joanna!
Very good that you are starting him off slowly with daycare and I'm glad he got better at the end. He'll do fine, it's probably harder on us parents. :)

Mikias is a very cute turtle. I had two Ariels for Halloween. We should have gotten together for a whole under the sea theme!!
Daycare adjustments are difficult, but kids adapt easily. He'll be telling you about all of his friends and adventures in no time.
